The website

The pages describe publishing services. They are an invitation to talk, not a promise that every manuscript will be accepted, and not a guarantee of sales, rankings, or reviews. Examples of cover studies on the site are studio directions, not a claim that those titles are published books.

Inquiries

Sending a form does not create a contract. A project begins when both sides accept a written scope, price, and timeline. Until then, either side may decline.

Your manuscript

You are responsible for having the right to the material you send. Greenwood does not take your copyright merely because you asked for a consultation. Ownership of the work, and of any new writing or art we create, is set in the project agreement before that work begins.

Timelines

Schedules depend on the length of the book, the services included, and how quickly notes come back. Dates in a proposal are plans, and they move if the manuscript or the feedback moves.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to send unlawful material, to misrepresent who you are, or to interfere with the forms. We may ignore or remove an inquiry that looks like abuse.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Greenwood is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
